Upcoming Player Development Programmes

INC are kick starting the year with a few different player development programmes and need your help with taking some coaching sessions with the players.

Year 7/8 PDP

This programme is going to run over two Sundays 10-2pm - 23rd February and 1st March.

We need coaches who are confident to take a session with this age group, a resource will be provided. 

BOOST RELOADED

This programme is for 13-15 year olds and will run on Thursdays 4-5:30pm.  There are a couple of dates where we will need coaches to come in and take a session with this age group.  We would like coaches who have completed some CCA Level 1 or 2 NNZ Coaching Modules or coaches who are confident working with this age group to help out on the following dates:

Thursday 12th March 4-5:30pm

Thursday 26th March 4-5:30pm

Thursday 9th April 4-5:30pm.

U16 B-FIT 

This programme is targeted at 15-16 year olds who have been in our INC REP teams previously.

It will run on Saturdays 10-12pm.

We are wanting coaches who have completed some CCA 1 and CCA 2 or coaching workshops equivalent to the  NNZ Coaching Modules to assist with this programme on the following dates:

Saturday 7th March 10-12pm

Saturday 21st March 10-12pm

Saturday 28th March 10-12pm

U18 Fitter, Faster, Stronger 

This programme is targeted at our REP players and has been designed to give them a head start coming into the 2020 season.  It will run on Saturdays 10-12pm.  Any coach is welcome to come along and observe these sessions to help with their own development.

We have specialist coaching sessions with Wendy Frew and Reinga Bloxham already locked in and our U18 REP coach will also be involved with this programme once they have been appointed.

We are wanting those coaches who are working at Performance level of NNZ Coaching Framework to help with this programme on the following dates:

Saturday 29th February 10-12pm

Saturday 21st March 10-12pm

Coaching Workshops

Netball South are running NNZ Coaching Workshops on Sunday 8th March at ILT Stadium Southland.  The cost is $15 per coach per workshop.  The workshops are:

- Selecting CCA Level 1

- Skills Analysis CCA Level 1

- Developing Physical Capabilities CCA Level 2
