INC Men A - Coach Conclusion
Across our tournament, the team showed some major improvement in sticking to structures, resilience in competing for the full game and not dropping our head, and an ability to stay connected under pressure. A key highlight was the group’s mental strength which was tested as we got promoted into A Grade with limited preparation time, yet the team turned up able to compete with intent and belief.
We faced a number of top-tier sides and remained competitive for large periods, with several games going right down to the wire. There were strong starts, improved execution for long periods, and valuable learnings around sustaining performance across the full 60 minutes.
Managing injuries and illness across the tournament tested our depth, however the group responded well, with players stepping into new roles and maintaining structure. This included the inclusion of a B team player for the final two games, who integrated seamlessly and added real value to the squad.
Overall, this was a campaign that achieved growth both individually and within combinations, and has shown exciting progression on where we were just six months ago. This campaign has shown us patches of the high-performance unit we can be and positions us with real confidence and knowledge for 2027!
