People often view umpiring as a thankless and tough task. Although it can be challenging, those who umpire thoroughly enjoy it, seeing it as an opportunity to give back to the game, stay involved in netball, facilitate games effectively, keep fit, and umpire from grassroots to elite.

Umpiring is a great way to be involved in the game, whether its for a love of netball or to support your friends and children. We are always looking to grow our umpire community and welcome newcomers with open arms!

JUNIOR UMPIRE ACADEMY

This year INC is running the Junior Umpire Academy (Secondary School age Students) over 2 days, 10:00 – 2:00 each day.

There are 2 Intakes to choose from.

The Academy involves

Completing Intake 1 or Intake 2 (2 Days per intake), followed by 6 weeks of practical umpiring with support.

Cost - $50 per person.

2 days Theory and Practical Training

6 Weeks Practical umpiring with support

Graduates will have the opportunity to complete the Centre Theory Award.
